So I thought that they said that they weren't going to cut funds for troops? Then why is it that they are looking at budget cuts of up to $20 billion dollars? Wasn't Nancy Pelosi just recently quoted as saying "I'm going to be very clear: Democrats will not cut off funding for our troops." If that's the case, why are they looking into cutting the Pentagon's budget?
Bill Clinton did the same thing in the 90's. He cut the budget of the military and defense operations to the bone and it cost us dearly. It takes time, energy, and a lot of money to get things back to where they need to be when things hit the fan.
So which is it Democrats? Why do you say one thing, they take a look at the possibilities of the other? You know, for the "first 100" hours you guys haven't accomplished squat. You certainly haven't kept your "5 day work week" promise that you made during the elections. If you're going to try to smear those of us who stand up for this country and try to do what's right, even if mistakes are made, you can bet your ass that they will keep track of every mistake you make for a very long time.
