So a couple decides to set up a couple of security cameras and a radar gun in their neighborhood to help prevent speeding. They caught a police officer speeding in their neighborhood and turned that information over to the authorities. Now the officer wants to press stalking charges on the couple?
Sorry officer, but you do not have the right to privacy when you are in public driving your car. Officers have used this argument in the past against civilians and the same law applies to you. If you were speeding, then you get the same penalties that everyone else does.
