So Air America's stuff is for sale. No surprise, no one wants to hear liberal talk radio since all they generally do is complain about Bush and how they'd like to see impeachment and actually do nothing about their "problems".
Americans like problem solvers. We're a culture that celebrates winners. Pro athletes, doctors, certain politicians, all "solve problems". When you don't solve a problem or at least offer up an idea, you aren't looked upon with great admiration. So when you try to build up a liberal radio station, there's tons of upfront costs, so you need to think long term. Yet another liberal fault, they generally don't think long term. We'll use the impeachment argument again, You can go onto any Internet forum and see people screaming for Bush to be impeached, but then when you tell them that Cheney would be President, they get a bit quiet. Not long term thinking.
So, with significant upfront costs and low ratings, it's not surprising that Air America is up for sale at low low prices.
