Well if he is, then he should be locked away in a mental institution for the rest of his life. Hell, most times when someone is accused of a crime and they are mentally ill, they spend more time in jail then they do if they just plead guilty. However, I'm torn in this case for two reasons.
First, he's an American citizen with rights that need to be respected and upheld just like any other American citizen.
However, he's accused of trying to murder thousands of people, but the Administration has backed off that claim. Why? That's the question on my mind. If he's guilty of that crime, take him out back behind the barn and shoot him like Old Yeller. If he's not, and he's not guilty of any other crime, then he needs to be set free. However, I'd be curious if he's guilty of other crimes that the general public are not aware of. Many times people get all upset by cases like this but we then find out later on that there was real evidence against the person and that they were accused of vastly more then just what we're being told.
