Bush Compares Obama To Nazi Appeasers
"Some seem to believe we should negotiate with terrorists and radicals,
as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong
all along," said Bush, in what White House aides privately acknowledged
was a reference to calls by Obama and other Democrats for the U.S.
president to sit down for talks with leaders like Iranian President
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
"We have heard this foolish delusion before," Bush said in
remarks to the Israeli Knesset. "As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in
1939, an American Senator declared: 'Lord, if only I could have talked
to Hitler, all of this might have been avoided.' We have an obligation
to call this what it is -- the false comfort of appeasement, which has
been repeatedly discredited by history."
Funny, I don't see Obama's name anywhere. You see, Democrats HATE being called "appeasers" because it's easily proven and it shows them that their spine has a bit of yellow in it, or no spine at all.
Of course, now here comes the "outrage"
"This is bulls**t. This is malarkey. This is outrageous. Outrageous for
the president of the United States to go to a foreign country, sit in
the Knesset ... and make this kind of ridiculous statement," he said.
What's the matter Biden? Not like it when the light is turned on and you're shown to be the spineless coward that your party has rightly earned the reputation of?
Watch him scatter to under the refrigerator once the light is turned on.
Of course, Obama has now had to say something about it:
In a statement, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., shot across the bow: "It is
sad that President Bush would use a speech to the Knesset on the 6Oth
anniversary of Israel's independence to launch a false political
attack. It is time to turn the page on eight years of policies that
have strengthened Iran and failed to secure America or our ally Israel.
Instead of tough talk and no action, we need to do what Kennedy, Nixon
and Reagan did and use all elements of American power -- including
tough, principled, and direct diplomacy - to pressure countries like
Iran and Syria. George Bush knows that I have never supported
engagement with terrorists, and the President's extraordinary
politicization of foreign policy and the politics of fear do nothing to
secure the American people or our stalwart ally Israel."
Yep, it doesn't matter that US soldiers have died from direct action taken by the Iranians. Doesn't matter that young men and women are coming home in boxes because of the Iranians. We should sit down and ask them kindly to stop it. Because that's the kind of reaction that should be taken right?
Even though their leader is talking about things like this:
Just like the late Imam [Khomeini] sealed the American den of spies,
the Iranian people expects Ayatollah Khamenei, by means of your
[government], to shut down the den of corruption, conspiracy, and
rebellion, known as the British embassy.
It was said by an Iranian journalist, and yet, Ahamadinejad doesn't say "no" or anything of that nature. Understand this, the British remember back to 1979, and if you make an attempt on the embassy, you will wind up with a LOT of dead Iranians.
But no, let's talk about Bush and his failures rather than the threats that we face from Islamic militants. It's a lot easier to do right? Because God forbid you Democrats actually stand up to a threat to your very lives. Al-Qaeda didn't care if you were Republican or Democrat on 9/11, and they don't care now. They're laughing at you because you've focused your energy on Bush instead of them.
I'm laughing at you because it shows your inherent weakness when it comes to direct threats against Americans. It's all about "blame America first" crap that you've been brainwashed with and when something happens like the brutal murder of 3,000 people in 1 day, 17 sailors murdered in October 2000, and other attacks, you simply say to yourself "well it must be for something we did".
Why do you think when the cops show up when something bad happens, that lambs like you cling to them when the wolves show up at your front door? When you wake up and see the threat and lies from idiots like Ahmadinejad, CAIR, and other militants trying to destroy our society, then I might have an ounce of respect for you. Until then, I'm tempted to throw you to the wolves. It helps the herd when you get rid of the weak.
