What The Hell Is Wrong With Obama And His Pastors?

Sen. Barack Obama said he was "deeply disappointed" by a sermon at his church this week that mocked Sen. Hillary Clinton.

art.pfleger.file.afp.gi.jpg

A video making the rounds on YouTube shows the Rev. Michael Pfleger mocking Clinton for becoming teary-eyed before the New Hampshire primary in January.

In the video, Pfleger wipes his eyes with a handkerchief and suggests Clinton wept because she thought that as a white person and the wife of a former president, she was entitled to the presidency.

"And then, out of nowhere, came 'Hey, I'm Barack Obama,' " Pfleger said during a sermon Sunday at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, Illinois. "And [Clinton] said, 'Oh damn, where did you come from? I'm white! I'm entitled! There's a black man stealing my show!' "

Obama has known Pfleger for more than 20 years.

Ok, this is the SECOND hate speech filled pastor that Obama's had in his life in the past few months that has come to light.

But wait! There's more!

Typical of Mr. Obama's earmarks was a $100,000 grant for a youth center at a Catholic church run by the Rev. Michael Pfleger, a controversial priest who was one of the few South Side clergymen to back Mr. Obama against Mr. Rush.

Father Pfleger has long worked with South Side political leaders to reduce crime and improve the community. But he has drawn fire from some quarters for defending the Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan and inviting him to speak at his church. Father Pfleger, who did not return calls for comment, is one of the religious leaders whose "faith testimonials" Mr. Obama has posted on his presidential campaign Web site.

Anyone else you'd like to tell us about Mr. Obama? Got any Black Panther members as cousins or "spiritual advisors"? What about any other hate groups you'd like to tell us about? Are there any pictures of you with any member of the Nation Of Islam? This guy just doesn't know when to quit with the hate mongers.

Olbermann's A Hypocrite

I think this might be an early birthday gift to me. But here's a fun little bit about Keith Olbermann not paying taxes on his new condo. Normally, that wouldn't be a big deal, but he also defended Al Franken for the exact same thing.

New York State has issued a tax warrant against Keith Olbermann for failure to pay taxes on his humbly named personal corporation, Olbermann Broadcasting Empire, Inc. Olbermann is listed in legal records as the President of Olbermann Broadcasting Empire, Inc.

A call to the Albany County Clerk's Office in upstate New York confirmed that the warrant is still outstanding and that Olbermann has still failed to pay his back taxes. State records show that Olbermann's company failed to pay $2,269.50 in state taxes. A judgement was entered against Olbermann last summer (Docket Date: 8/21/2007), just weeks before Olbermann closed on a a luxurious $4.2 mm condo at Trump Palace, at 200 East 69th Street.

NYS Tax Warrant for Olbermann.jpg

Keith Olbermann joins fellow comedian Al Franken on the list of prominent liberals who love to raise YOUR taxes but do everything in the power to avoid paying their own. Franken, running for the Democratic nomination for Senate in Minnesota was nailed two months ago for failing to pay his taxes. That report let to further investigations which turned up numerous examples of Franken skipping out on tax bills across 19 states for an amount totaling over $70,000. Franken was also fined $25,000 for failure to pay into state Workers Compensation fund. Minnesota Democrats Exposed has all the goods on Franken here.

NOTE TO READERS: The Franken case initially involved one tax lien in one state but quickly mushroomed to cover 19 states. Any help we can get in searching local tax warrant databases in other states is appreciated. Send along any other tax liens against Olbermann or his front companies and we will add them here.

UPDATE: Looks like we may have some more tax problems for Olbermann to report on tomorrow. We've got some leads but need to confirm with two state tax agencies.

Reader Tim reminds us that earlier this month Keith wasdefending fellow left-wing comedian Al Franken (by attacking Bill O'Reilly...a twofer):

Admonishing Bill, Olby said "if you say Franken owes 70,000 dollars in back taxes, you're lying. Franken paid the taxes. In fact, he overpaid the taxes. He just didn't pay them to the correct states. A traveling performer, like a comedian or lecturer or ball player, has to pay income tax everywhere he has a gig or game and Franken's accountant misled him on that. So he paid the taxes, but he paid them to Minnesota, and now he's paying them again to the other states. And you're a cheesy liar, Bill."

Except that Franken kept changing his story and also ended up getting slapped with a $25,000 fine for failing to pay into the workman's comp fund (irony for the friend of the working man, right?). Whatever excuse Keith wants to make for Franken, Keith's tax warrant is STILL outstanding as of this moment and Keith is not a performer or ball player. So what's your excuse Keith? Did your accountant "mislead" you?

UPDATE: Olbermann Tax Woes Mount, Extends to California, total now over $100,000

Happy Birthday to me....Happy Birthday to me....:)

Get The Fuck Out You Whiny Cunt!

SUSAN SARANDON, who appeared in three films last year and won kudos for her TV movie "Bernard and Doris," is still not a contented soul. She says if John McCain gets elected, she will move to Italy or Canada. She adds, "It's a critical time, but I have faith in the American people."

I swear to fucking GOD here. Election time is coming up, and now we have yet ANOTHER celebrity threatening to move out of the country if their guy doesn't win.

Even if Barack Obama does win, America doesn't want you Susan. I think it's time you left the country, you fair weather American. Fuck you and the elitist attitude you have.

Look Out! Here Comes Nancy!

Hillary Clinton has hinted that she is prepared to take her fight to fully seat Florida and Pelosi says she is prepared to 'step in.'Michigan all the way to the party's convention in late August, but House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says that's not going to happen.

In an interview with her hometown newspaper, the San Francisco Chronicle, the California Democrat said she is prepared to "step in" if the presidential race does not resolve itself by the end of next month.

"I will step in," Pelosi told the paper. "Because we cannot take this fight to the convention…It must be over before then."

Pelosi, who will serve as chair of the convention, has largely stayed on the sidelines during her party's prolonged primary race. But the House Speaker has said Democratic superdelegates should not overturn the pledged delegate winner, and has warned of irreparable harm if they do so. Barack Obama officially won the majority of pledged delegates in last Tuesday's primary contests, though it's been clear for several weeks Clinton could not overtake him in that category.

Pelosi also indicated she opposes the Clinton campaign's desire that both Florida and Michigan's delegations be fully seated at the convention. The party stripped both states of their entire delegations last year after they moved their presidential primaries ahead in the nominating calendar.

Pelosi said she agreed the two states should be seated in some way, but said only "in a way that is not destructive to any sense of order in the party."

Yes, we all know how good Nancy is at taking charge and making things happen. Just look at her record so far....:) Hillary is going to fight this all the way to the convention and is looking for a way out gracefully. But there simply is no way out that way. She's lost the majority of the votes, so she can't win that way. Her only hope is superdelegates and some of them hopefully changing their minds.

Even her little monkey boy Carville is trying to "take the moral high ground" by saying they'd pay for a re-election in Michigan and Florida. Then he goes on to proclaim that Obama's camp wasn't having it. That may very well be, but to see this idiot try to come off as the victim is sickening.

Hillary is sunk because of her lack of planning, her arrogance, and her lies.

Nancy Pelosi is taking the cowards way out by keeping everything quiet in the hopes that a clear winner would be decided by the people. That's what a LOT of delegates are doing. They are hoping to pass the blame for their votes to the American people instead of themselves. That's why Carville was pissed at Richardson for his endorsement of Obama. Remember the "Judas" comment? Everyone is in bed with everyone else in Washington, and if you don't scratch the back of someone who's expecting it, you can bet that there'll be some name callling and a lot of support lost.

Sharon Stone's A Coward

Hollywood star Sharon Stone has apologised for suggesting China's earthquake was bad "karma" for its handling of Tibet, but Christian Dior on Thursday dropped her from its local ads amid a public uproar.

The 50-year-old US actress offered to help with relief efforts after the May 12 quake that killed nearly 70,000 people, in an effort to smooth over tensions sparked by her controversial comments at the Cannes Film Festival last week.

"My erroneous words and deeds angered and saddened the Chinese people, and I sincerely apologise for this," she said in a statement issued by Dior China and sent to AFP on Thursday.

"I'm willing to participate in any earthquake relief activity and to do my utmost to help Chinese people affected by the disaster," she added.

But Dior said Stone -- who promotes the French luxury brand's anti-ageing skin-care line, among other products -- would no longer appear in its ads in China.

"In light of the negative reaction that Sharon Stone's inappropriate remarks have triggered, Dior China has decided to immediately cancel and stop any advertisements, marketing campaigns and commercial activities associated with Sharon Stone," it said.

Stone -- perhaps best known for her starring role in "Basic Instinct" -- sparked the controversy last week, which has angered people across China and led to pledges by some cinemas here to boycott her films.

"I'm not happy about the way the Chinese are treating the Tibetans because I don't think anyone should be unkind to anyone else," Stone said, according to footage widely available on YouTube.

"And then all this earthquake and all this stuff happened, and I thought, is that karma -- when you're not nice that the bad things happen to you?"

Anyone else surprised? According to IMDB, she has 4 movies in production or being ready to be released. These movie studios have a LOT of money wrapped up into these projects, and I wouldn't be surprised if one of them pressured her into "apologizing".

That being said, I would think that a Hollywood celebrity would have a bit more of a backbone....pfft....HA! I almost said that with a straight face. She's a cowardly liberal who's backing down from people being offended. Just ONCE I'd like to see a celebrity say something "offensive" and tell the "offended" people to go fuck themselves if they don't like what they said.

Spineless vermin. Sharon, do us all a favor and grow a backbone and don't bother making Basic Instinct 3. No one wants to look up your skirt to see something that looks like cabbage leaves gone bad.

China seeks earthquake aid from Japan

China is turning to its former enemy Japan for help as it seeks to boost its relief operations after the deadly earthquake that has devastated the southwestern Sichuan province.

art.sdf.ap.jpg

China has begun talks with Tokyo about what would be the first significant military dispatch involving the two countries since World War II, The Associated Press reported Thursday.

"Given the magnitude of this disaster, if some countries or militaries are ready to provide us with material in urgent need, we will express our welcome," said Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang, AP reported.

The Kyodo news agency said Japan plans to dispatch Self-Defense Forces aircraft to transport tents and other relief supplies to main airports, but the troops will not be allowed to go into the affected areas.

The Beijing regime has welcomed aid from the international community as it seeks to help the 158,000 people evacuated from nearly 170 areas.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but isn't China's economy booming? Why do they need help at all? Shouldn't they be using their vast cash reserves to help themselves? You know, like a "rainy day" fund? Well, it's certainly a good time to whip out the old bank card and start paying for reconstruction. Certainly there's equipment that only other nations may possess like earth movers and such, but to me, since China's been spying like crazy, stealing military and industrial secrets, I don't see a problem with letting them pay their own way out of this mess.

Bush’s laws will be scrutinized if I become president, Obama says

Maybe it's his background teaching constitutional law.

If elected president, Democratic White House hopeful Barack Obama said one of the first things he wants to do is ensure the constitutionality of all the laws and executive orders passed while Republican President George W. Bush has been in office.

Those that don't pass muster will be overturned, he said.

During a fund-raiser in Denver, Obama - a former constitutional law professor at the University of Chicago Law School - was asked what he hoped to accomplish during his first 100 days in office.

"I would call my attorney general in and review every single executive order issued by George Bush and overturn those laws or executive decisions that I feel violate the constitution," said Obama

Other goals for his first 100 days: work out a plan to withdraw troops from Iraq; make progress on alternative energy plans and launch legislation to reform the health care system.

Anyone else noticing a pattern here? Democrats during the 2006 election promised to "right the wrongs of the Bush administration". They made literally hundreds of campaign promises to the American public in exchange for being elected.

Well they were elected and to date, they've accomplished ONE campaign promise; they raised the minimum wage. I warned about higher prices for everything we consume if that happened, and guess what? Coupled with higher energy costs, the minimum wage increase has cost us a LOT of money in everything.

Now, Obama is making campaign promises that I severely doubt he'll keep. During the first 100 days of office, anyone care to bet me what he'll accomplish?

Even two of the commenters have some serious questions about Obama:

Mr. Obama, I must ask you two questions:

1) As you are and have been a member of the United States Senate for the last four years, I would have expected you would have evaluated any legislation during that time period to insure you were helping to pass only laws which are constitutional. Do you, therefore, only intend to review laws from before you were a member of the Senate for Constitutionality or are those laws enacted since you took office also planned for review? If the former, please explain why you failed to take the time while you were in the Senate to review what your predecessors had done. If the latter, please explain why you were lax in carrying out your duties as a US Senator?

2) Since you have indicated it is your intention, if elected, to meet with your Attorney General to review existing legislation and overturn that which you consider unconstitutional, I must ask you to please identify precisely what power granted by the Constitution to the office of the Presidency allows such a unilateral action on your behalf? Do you believe that you are not personally subject to the US Constitution? The Separation of Powers given by that historic and monumental document does not allow the President to subsume the functions of the courts and the judiciary.

Firstly, Obama was not a law professor, he was a lecturer. Also he fails define the statement "pass muster". Does he mean quit fighting terrorist? Bush cannot make laws, only the congress. Better be ready to accept marxist ways if Obama becomes our next president. As for the surpreme court, the justices sorta of remind about the old saying us engineers used to say: "An engineer that can't design becomes a manager, if they can't manage, they become professors who teach engineering, and if they can't teach they write books on how to be an engineer". All judges that I'm aware of are pollitically appointed irregardless of their ability.

We shall see Mr. Obama IF you're elected. Hell, I'd LOVE to see him succeed in his campaign promises, but let's face it, the only people who make America better are the American public.

I Need To Join The CIA

This is the kind of thing I like to hear from the CIA in it's hunt for Al-Qaeda and it's henchmen:

The CIA has been using armed drones to attack alleged terrorists inside the tribal area, as U.S. military forces are barred from pursuing al-Qaida and Taliban fighters across the Afghan border.

Hayden would not say what else the CIA is doing, if anything, to target terrorist enclaves there.

"It's hard for me to get into any details. I understand the situation there and I'm comfortable with the authorities we've been given," he said.

"There's an awful lot of senior leadership killed or captured including even in the last several months," he said.

Despite al-Qaida's resilience, taking out bin Laden would be a psychological blow to the organization, Hayden said.

"If there ever was a sense of invulnerability I think killing or capturing him would shatter it once and for all," he said.

Bin Laden is believed to be hiding in the lawless tribal areas of western Pakistan. The new Pakistani government is negotiating a new peace agreement with the tribes that would have them expel extremists and police the region on their own. Hayden said he believes the result will be similar to the last agreement Pakistan struck with the tribes - nothing is likely to change.

"Any peace agreement that does not move the effective writ of the Pakistani government into the tribal region and push the rule of law there gives these groups the opportunity to continue to train, refit and move across the Afghan border. It's something we certainly could not look kindly on," Hayden said in the telephone interview.

Now we're talking! Let Pakistan know that we're not fucking around when it comes to Al-Qaeda. Hunt them down and kill them all. If Pakistan raises a stink, we'll look at our aid package and see if they change their tune when they see we won't be sending in as much arms and money as we used to. I'm sure the Indians would love to see their enemy weakened because of it's lack of a backbone when it comes to terrorists in thier own back yard.

Personally, I'd like to see CIA agents, SEAL teams, and other covert operations literally COVERING Pakistan looking for clues and conducting operations that capture or kill every, single, last Al-Qaeda member, including Bin Laden.

Democrats Don't Understand "Rules"

I swear to God, if this were involving children in this dispute, I'd hope a responsible adult would say "You broke the rules, and now you're facing the consequences. If you don't like it, tough".

But alas, we have people who don't WANT to follow the rules because it suits them to their own agenda.

The Democratic Party is likely to meet rule-breaking Florida and Michigan halfway when it comes to seating their delegates at the national convention, two members of the rules committee said Wednesday.

art.clintongeneric.gi.jpg

Such a move may help Sen. Hillary Clinton close the delegate gap with front-runner Sen. Barack Obama but not overtake him, said sources familiar with party deliberations.

The sources did not want to be identified because the full committee has not discussed the problem or ruled on it.

The Democratic National Committee's Rules and Bylaws Committee meets Saturday in Washington to consider what to do with Florida and Michigan, which broke ranks to hold primaries earlier than party rules allowed.

As punishment, both state parties were told that they would not be represented at all when the party officially nominates a presidential candidate at the August convention in Denver, Colorado, and they are challenging those sanctions.

Clinton and her supporters have been pressing for a compromise that seats as many delegates from the two states as possible. Clinton's Web site encourages people to write to the Rules and Bylaws Committee.

"There is one number that we are going to be satisfied with, and that is 2.3 million people having their votes counted," Clinton supporter Tina Flournoy said. About 600,000 people voted in Michigan and about 1.7 million in Florida.

The party needs "to recognize the January primary votes in both of those states," Clinton campaign co-chairman Harold Ickes said Wednesday.

"Pledged delegates fairly reflect the will of the voters," Ickes said, referring to delegates chosen in primaries and caucuses.

Ickes and Flournoy are both members of the Rules and Bylaws Committee.

Clinton, the New York senator and former first lady, won decisively in both states. But all candidates initially agreed not to campaign in either state after they broke party rules.

Obama and some other candidates had their names taken off the Michigan ballot, but he was on Florida's ballot.

In addition to deciding how many, if any, Florida and Michigan delegates to seat at the convention, the rules committee must determine how the delegates would be allocated between Clinton and Obama.

Various formulas have been suggested, most of which would give Clinton more delegates than Obama, but not enough to overtake his lead, which CNN currently estimates at about 200.

Really? You don't say? You mean to tell me that Hillary is willing to bend or even break the rules governing the delegates so that she may gain momentum against Obama? Normally, a person would break the rules, they'd get slapped with consequences and we'd all move on with our lives. Florida and Michigan KNEW AHEAD OF TIME WHAT THE CONSEQUENCES WOULD BE and STILL voted early. They now have to suffer those consequences. End. Of. Story. If you think that Florida and Michigan should be counted, I highly suggest you go talk to your parents and ask them where they went wrong in raising you. I know that if I go out and get drunk and smash my car up, I'm going to jail and I'm going to have to buy a new car. Therefore, I don't go and do that. You'd all be pissed if a police officer said "well that's ok. Have a good night and head home".

It's the same thing.

Political consultant Victor DiMaio and his attorney, Michael Steinberg, had compared the decision to prohibitions against allowing African-Americans to vote. And they invoked the trauma of the Florida recount in the 2000 contest between Al Gore and George W. Bush.

"This is nuts. This is not right. How can they remove Florida after all the things that Florida has suffered through? Hanging chads, through Bush v. Gore, and they're sticking it to us again," DiMaio said before the hearing.

So, because Florida can't seem to get it's voting process right, that allows them to break the rules? I guess Mr. and Mrs. DiMaio didn't raise Victor correctly. They didn't teach him right from wrong. They didn't teach him that there are rules for a reason and if those rules are broken, then there's consequences. Good job Mr. and Mrs. DiMaio, you've unleashed a fucking whiner onto society. I hope you're proud.

Finally A Political Attack From McCain That's On The Button

John McCain on Wednesday repeated his challenge to Barack Obama to take a ride with him over to Iraq and see the situation on the ground before concluding that U.S. efforts have failed to get the war-torn nation back on track.

Speaking in a town hall meeting in Reno, Nev., the presumptive Republican presidential nominee said he was surprised Obama's campaign considered it a political stunt when McCain proposed earlier this week that the two travel together to Iraq.

"The security of this nation is more important than any political campaign. To say that we failed in Iraq doesn't comport with the facts on the ground," McCain said to applause.

He also borrowed a line from Hillary Clinton and took a swipe at Obama for his tenure at the helm of a Foreign Relations subcommittee, saying: "He has not held one single hearing on Afghanistan, where young Americans are in harm's way as we speak."

McCain has hitched on to a talking point that is echoing through Republican chambers of late - that Obama would more readily meet with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad than hold a one-on-one with U.S. Gen. David Petraeus, the head of Multinational Forces in Iraq.

"He could meet Gen. Petraeus and he could meet Ambassador [Ryan] Crocker, and he could see - he could see the fact that Sadr City is quiet. He could see that the Maliki government has taken control of Basra. He could see that the Iraqi military is leading the fight in these places with the support of American troops," McCain said.

McCain has visited Iraq eight times since the war began. Obama has been to Iraq once, in 2006, before the surge credited with allowing the oil-rich nation a chance to rebuild .

That sounds fair enough. Go see for yourself the situation before you make a judgement about a particular issue. Just about everyone can agree that that is a reasonable request right? But here's where the fun begins:

McCain suggested the two forget their political differences and see for themselves results on the ground. Obama's campaign responded earlier this week by calling the suggestion, which was proposed over the weekend, "political posturing."

Obama said Tuesday that McCain's desire to plug onward in Iraq continues a failed policy of the Bush administration.

Rather than say "ok", Obama's campaign is claiming that this is "political posturing" and not even bothering to go to Iraq to see things for himself? Doesn't that strike you as odd that someone would be willing to make such a major decision based upon hearing about Iraq from second or third person perspectives?

Then of course, here comes the "political posturing" that Obama's camp talks about:

"I don't think we want to continue a misguided foreign policy and an endless war in Iraq that has cost us thousands of lives and hundreds of billions of dollars while making us less safe and less secure," he said.

"That's the choice in this election. On issue after issue, John McCain is offering more of the same policies that have failed for the last eight years."

McCain is dead right on this. He should continue to exploit Obama's willingness to meet with enemy nations but not willing to meet with US generals about foriegn policy issues. It's a direct attack on Obama that can't be portrayed as racist or any other type of spin that the media will put on such a threat.

"Senator Obama has been to Iraq once - a little over 2 years ago he went and he has never seized the opportunity except in a hearing to meet with Gen Petraeus," McCain said at a campaign event in Reno, Nevada. "My friends this is about leadership and learning."

Again raising the issue of Obama's willingness to meet with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, McCain also said of the Illinois senator, "he wants to sit down with the president of Iran but hasn't yet sat down with Gen. Petraeus, the leader of our troops in Iraq?"

What's funny is the comments in the story from readers. None of them can explain why the idea of Obama going to Iraq and seeing the progress is a bad one. They're all about name calling and not making a good counter point:

Talk Nicely About Us Or We'll Quit!

Iran's new parliament speaker Ali Larijani warned Wednesday that Teheran could impose new limits on its cooperation with the UN nuclear watchdog after a critical report from the agency.

Larijani, formerly the country's top nuclear negotiator, was overwhelmingly elected as parliament speaker Wednesday. Moments later, he told parliament that a new report by the International Atomic Energy Agency was "deplorable."

The unusually strongly worded report issued Monday said Iran may be withholding information needed to establish whether it tried to make nuclear weapons.

"We recommend them not to clandestinely keep passing Iran's nuclear dossier between the IAEA and 5-plus-1 group. This parliament won't allow such deception," Larijani told an open session of parliament broadcast live on state-run radio.

He was referring to IAEA reports and permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany. The council has imposed three sets of sanctions against Iran for its refusal to halt enriching uranium - a process that can be used to generate electricity or nuclear arms.

"Should this behavior continue, the parliament...will set new limits on cooperation with the IAEA," Larijani said.

Yep, even though Ahamadinejad's boy lost a recent election to this guy, it looks like we're not getting a better guy to deal with. This is VERY telling though about how forthright Iran is being about their nuclear program.

The IAEA, which just about everyone on the "they're making it all up about Iran" camp have put their faith in, have said that Iran is not answering questions and being evasive. I'm paraphrasing of course. :) Iran is now saying that if the IAEA isn't going to talk nicely about it's nuclear program, they'll stop cooperating with them. Doesn't sound like their nuclear program is for "peaceful purposes" does it?

Oh do tell me Keith Olbermann, how is it that "they are making it all up about Iran" now? Please bless me and my readers with your vast knowledge of Iranian affairs and explain to us how them saying they won't cooperate with the IAEA if they don't report positive news is a good thing?

God, I love being right.

The Day Off

All,

I have taken the day off today since I haven't had one in a while where I didn't have to do anything. :) I will probably be posting later on tonight just because I have that mental issue, (some of my readers are thinking "your ONLY mental issue?") so I might post anyways. Just thought I'd let you all know before I went off doing other things. :)

We're Bombing Mosques Now

Iran made an official protest to the United States, via a Swiss intermediary, on Wednesday about what Tehran says is Washington's support for a group blamed for bombing an Iranian mosque, a news agency reported.

The charge d'affaires of the Swiss embassy, which handles U.S. interests in Iran, was summoned to the Foreign Ministry and handed "evidence and documents" supporting Iran's allegations, the students news agency ISNA said.

Iran has said the United States, Britain and Israel were involved in the explosion in a mosque in the southern city of Shiraz in April that killed 14 people and wounded 200.

"Iran's strong protest was conveyed to (the charge d'affaires) about the free-ranging activities of a terrorist and anti-revolutionary group in America," ISNA said, quoting a senior Foreign Ministry official. It did not name the group.

"In this meeting, part of the evidence and documents related to the terrorist activities of this group was handed over to the Swiss charge d'affaires in order to present to American officials in charge," it added.

Washington was asked "to hand over the agents and leaders (of the group) ... to Iran for justice to be done," ISNA added.

Ok, first off, why not name the group? That's the first "red flag" of bullshit that anyone in their right mind would think. If they are a group that's supported by the United States, it would make perfect sense to publicly name them so that Iran could have some propaganda to use against us. The fact that they didn't speaks volumes about the truthfullness of this accusation.

Secondly, and this is more important, say we are supporting such a group of people, for the sake of the argument, who bombed a mosque and Iran wants us to hand them over. Where's our incentive to do so? Iran has supported Hezbollah and insurgent groups in Iraq that have murdered US soldiers. If Iran thinks we'd hand over people who're trying to undermine them, they must be out of their fucking minds.

Every time a bomb goes off in Iraq, a bomb should go off in Iran. Tit for tat. Sooner or later, Iran will catch a clue that we're not going to sit idly by while our guys get blown up. We will retaliate. Maybe not publicly, but we will retaliate.

As a side note, I'd LOVE to see their "evidence" that they have that not only the US, but Britain and Israel are also involved in bombing of a mosque. I mean, it makes perfect sense for all three nations to get together to bomb a house of worship.

Does their PR guy actually read their line of bullshit, or does he read it off the cuff and think "no one's going to buy this". Because truthfully, out of all the accusations that have come out of Iran, how many of them actually sound plausible? Really? Iran is having massive problems because of it's own doing. We tried to play nice, and then they decided to fuck with us. So, we take appropriate measures with world banks and such, and remind them the price for doing business in Iran, and then they wonder why their economy is in the toilet, unemployment is in double digits, and inflation is going past 15%.

Talk about the "great Satan" all you want, but we are the #1 economy, military, and industrial power in the world, and when we want to flex our muscle, we will. And we'll make your lives hell in doing so.

Obama Backtracks

Democrat Barack Obama underscored his willingness to talk to leaders of countries like Iran that are considered U.S. adversaries but said on Monday that does not necessarily mean an audience with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Obama, the Democratic Party front-runner vying to face Republican Sen. John McCain in the November race for the White House, has said he was willing to meet with leaders of countries such as Iran, Syria, Cuba and Venezuela without preconditions.

McCain has criticized that view, saying that sitting down with someone like Ahmadinejad would give the Iranian president a spotlight and send the wrong signal to U.S. allies such as Israel.

Iran does not recognize Israel's existence and Ahmadinejad has called the country a "stinking corpse."

Obama, an Illinois senator, said Iranian presidential elections in 2009 would be a factor in the timing of any meetings, as would considerations of who wields the power.

"There's no reason why we would necessarily meet with Ahmadinejad before we know that he was actually in power. He's not the most powerful person in Iran," Obama told reporters while campaigning in New Mexico.

What happened to "meeting without preconditions"? What about "talking with our friends and talking with our enemies"? Something has changed here.

Just a little while ago in this video, Obama specifically implies that he would meet with Ahmadinejad:

Even better, is that during a debate, a question is asked if Obama would meet with leaders of various countries, INCLUDING IRAN WITHIN THE FIRST YEAR OF HIS PRESIDENCY, and Obama said "I would".

That's some major backtracking. Because during the first year of Obama's administration, Ahamadinejad would still be the leader of Iran. Then, if Obama is saying that he's not sure who'd be in power at the time, that's splitting hairs and trying to backtrack.

Your Messiah is starting to crumble Democrats.

Iran Hiding Nuclear Secrets From UN

Oh how I love to be proven right. I wish it were on something insignificant like when it was going to rain and such, but now I've been proven to be right about Iran's nuclear program.

Iran's alleged research into nuclear warheads remains a matter of serious concern and Tehran should provide more information on its missile-related activities, the U.N. nuclear watchdog said on Monday.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) also said, in its latest report on Iran, that Tehran was holding back information on high-explosives testing relating to its nuclear program.

This is according to the UN's nuclear group, the IAEA, NOT according to the US or any other intelligence agencies. So, those of you out there who keep saying that it's all being "made up about Iran", (Keith Olbermann, I'm looking at you), it simply IS NOT TRUE. Iran IS hiding something.

Case in point:

The IAEA said it asked Iran in April to provide access to locations related to the manufacture of uranium centrifuges, research and development of uranium enrichment, and uranium mining and milling as a transparency measure.

"To date, Iran has not agreed to the agency's request," the report said.

Iran could EASILY answer the concerns of the international community, but it choses not to because it will bring up even MORE questions about their activities.

The IAEA has been pressing Tehran for answers to Western intelligence allegations that Iran has covertly studied how to design atomic bombs. Iran has dismissed the intelligence as baseless, forged or irrelevant.

Iran's research into "high explosives testing and the missile re-entry vehicle project remained a matter of serious concern", said the report, which will be passed on to the United Nations Security Council.

"Substantive explanations are required from Iran to support its statements on the alleged studies and on other information with a possible military dimension," the agency said, though it added that it had not detected any actual use of nuclear material in connection with the alleged studies.

"We have not got substantive answers and we could have gotten those earlier," a senior U.N. official said.

The next step is up to Tehran and to the IAEA board of governors, which meets next week in Vienna, he said. "They (Iran) know what we need, everything is listed here that we need, the questions are clear...we need answers."

The IAEA is finally starting to press Iran about it's nuclear intentions, contrary to it's toothless reputation. But sooner or later, Iran is going to have to cave. Even with China and Russia backing it for obviously self centered reasons, even Stevie Wonder can see that Iran is after nuclear weapons.

But of course, here comes the bullshit spin from Iran:

Ali Asghar Soltanieh, Iran's ambassador to the agency, said the IAEA report showed that Tehran's nuclear program was peaceful, Iran's semi-official Fars News Agency reported.

The report "shows Iran's entire nuclear activities are peaceful," Fars quoted him as saying. "Once more it has been explicitly underlined that there has been absolutely no evidence regarding the diversion of Iran's nuclear activities or materials toward military purposes," he said.

Anyone believe this line of bullshit except idiots like Keith Olbermann?

Anyone care to explain to me how this report of Iran hiding and dodging questions shows that they have a purely peaceful nuclear program?

It's all a line of shit from Iran because they have gotten emboldened our non response to their attacks on our soldiers in Iraq. They have seen that they can get away with attacking our guys and we'll do nothing about it. Many people are looking at Iran and thinking it's all a ruse from the Bush administration, but no one other then a select few, is actually LOOKING at the evidence.

If this is ever an "I told you so" moment, this is it. The NIE report has been criticized for being wrong in the past and ignored when it talked about Iran's nuclear program. But once it said that they stopped in 2003, everyone touted it as gospel. Why can't the NIE be wrong in this instance? Because people's minds are already made up and they'll pick and choose the evidence that they want to see.

Gregory Schulte, the U.S. envoy to the IAEA, said Iran was blocking the IAEA's efforts to investigate indications that it had engaged in studies, engineering work, and procurement relevant to building nuclear weapons.

"The report shows in great detail how much Iran needs to explain, and how little it has," he said.

"Altogether this report is a clear vote that Iran could have done more, but that it didn't," said a European diplomat.

The report said Iran had not given the IAEA all the necessary information or access to documents and individuals.

"The agency is of the view that Iran may have additional information, in particular on high explosives testing and missile-related activities, which could shed more light on the nature of these alleged studies and which Iran should share with the agency," the report said.

Unless Iran has a GREAT explanation about all of these unanswered questions, including questions about nuclear contamination at Tehran University and documents found that only pertain to nuclear weapons, Iran is going to have a nasty surprise waiting for them. China and Russia can't ignore the evidence for long.

Indiana Jones And The New Cold War

Members of Russia's Communist Party are calling for a nationwide boycott of the new Indiana Jones movie, saying it aims to undermine communist ideology and distort history.

"Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" stars Harrison Ford as an archaeologist competing in 1957 with an evil KGB agent, played by Cate Blanchett, to find a skull endowed with mystic powers.

It hit Russian screens Thursday.

Communist Party members in St. Petersburg said on a web site this week that the Soviet Union in 1957 "did not send terrorists to the States," but launched a satellite, "which evoked the admiration of the whole world."

Moscow Communist lawmaker Andrei Andreyev said Saturday "it is very disturbing if talented directors want to provoke a new Cold War."

First off, I'm QUITE certain that if I took a look around, I'd find plenty of anti-American movies being made in Russia. But as a side note guys, it's just a fucking movie. Grow up.

Liberal Celebrity Gives Opinion On War In Iraq!

Surely this is front page news! I mean, if any other actor has anything to say about world events that's relevant, we should be listening to them because their opinion is much greater then yours and mine simply because they are better then us!

Oscar-winner Jessica Lange bashed the Bush administration and denounced the war in Iraq during a commencement address at Sarah Lawrence College.

The star of "Tootsie" and "Blue Sky" was applauded by students Friday at the small liberal arts college after comparing the conflict with the Vietnam War. She said the graduates have "a heavy burden" to chart a new path for the country
.

Wow, liberal arts college eh? Why am I not surprised? I won't bother going into her arguments simply because I've denounced them or proven them wrong over time.

Next up, let's ask Screech from Saved By The Bell what he thinks of our international aid and it's effects on the economy!

Keep The Dead Terrorist Leaders Coming!

The leader of Colombia's largest leftist rebel group is dead, a spokesman for the nation's defense ministry said Saturday.

art.marulanda.gi.jpg

Pedro Antonio Marin, known as Manuel Marulanda Vilez and nicknamed Tirofijo, is believed to have died of a heart attack, ministry spokesman Juan Manuel Santos said.

"He must be in hell," Santos told a reporter from Semana magazine.

Marulanda, who was believed to be in his late 70s, has led the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC, for decades.

I'm all for dead terrorist leaders, but a heart attack? Come on guys, let's see if we can step it up a notch here eh?

Although I disapprove of these kinds of tactics:

He also said he's working on a way to grant former rebels what he called "conditional freedom" -- suggesting that they'd receive some form of amnesty for criminal acts.

You don't give amnesty to terrorist group members in exchange for cash. Doing so is appeasement and only encourages such behavior from others. There's only two ways to deal with terrorists; capture or kill them.

Why McCain Won't Win

You know, with as much as I like John McCain, it's stupid bullshit like this that will cost him the election:

Who gives a shit if Ellen Degeneres or any other gay person gets married? He comes across looking like a complete douche bag who's going to try to trample on the rights of gay people.

We're the party of lesser government. We're the party of not interfering with people's lives. Shit like this will cost us votes and will only alienate people. If you think marriage should be between a man and a woman, fine, but don't tell others that they can't marry someone that they love.

Idiot.

Keith Olbermann's Bias Against The Military Is Showing

So I'm on the eliptical machine at the gym and low and behold my favorite idiot comes onto the tv. Unfortunately, I don't have any control over the channel, so I just pop my ipod on and read the subtitles in case he says something stupid.

While his condemnation of Hillary's "RFK assassination" comments were fairly accurate, I have noticed one thing; liberal politicians aren't on his "worst person in the world" commentary. He lambasts a General at Guantanamo Bay for basically saying that the inmates there aren't tortured and they basically live like they are in a frat house, and he's one of the "worst people in the world". Yet, Hillary gets much more of Keith's time and she's not the "worst person in the world" or even in the top 3.

What's worse is that I've now noticed (maybe I'm a bit slow here), that military officials are constantly on this list, but liberal politicians aren't. That's not journalism Keith. That's showing favoritism.

What I'd also like the point out, is in Keith's list of "things we've forgiven Hillary about", he mentions that Democrats have forgiven Hillary for her praise of John McCain and downplaying Obama.

Keith, that's showing that you can like a person's ideas even if they are on the other side of the political aisle. You constantly accuse Republicans of "towing the party line", yet you're doing the exact same, hypocritical thing. It's amazing that you even have a show with your outright lies that you've told, your misleading statements, and your bias against the military men and women who are capturing and KILLING terrorists.

Hard to believe as it may be for you Keith, but there are terrorists out there and they mean to do us harm. Since you are obviously too chicken shit to do anything but Monday morning quarterback tough decisions these people have to make, your opinion of them is of little importance. However, your half truths and outright lies mislead your audience into thinking these military people are monsters when they are trying to defend the nation against people who want you dead.

If you can't seem to see that, perhaps you should take your head out of your ass for a moment and stop giving snobbish comments and instead take a look at the real situation that we face and offer solutions instead of simply complaining like the fucking harpies on The View.

Why Memorial Day Exists

On a more somber note, Memorial day is a national holiday here in the United States where we remember the fallen soldiers of wars present and past. Some seem to have lost the meaning of it by taking vacations and throwing barbecues without remembering why they have the day off of work to begin with.

So, that being said, I will show you why we remember:

The White House announced Friday that a Pennsylvania soldier who jumped on top of a grenade in Iraq and saved the lives of his comrades will posthumously receive the Medal of Honor.

The nation's highest military honor will be given to 19-year-old Army Pfc. Ross McGinnis of Knox, Pa., on June 2.

McGinnis "distinguished himself by extraordinary heroism," said White House deputy press secretary Tony Fratto.

McGinnis was perched in the gunner's hatch of a Humvee when a grenade sailed past him and into the truck where four other soldiers sat. He shouted a warning to the others, then jumped on the grenade. The grenade, which was lodged near the vehicle's radio, blew up and killed him.

Lt. Col. Anne Edgecomb, an Army spokeswoman, said McGinnis easily could have jumped out of the truck and saved himself.

"The instinct is, jump out of the vehicle, but his four buddies were in the vehicle with him ... and he chose to place himself on top of the grenade and absorb the impact, and it saved their lives," Edgecomb said.

McGinnis was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, in Schweinfurt, Germany.

He died on Dec. 4, 2006.

Three others have also been awarded the Medal of Honor posthumously for their actions in Iraq. They are Army Sgt. 1st Class Paul R. Smith, Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Michael A. Monsoor and Marine Cpl. Jason L. Dunham.

When you speak of heroes, you speak of men like this. Celebrities, professional athletes, musicians, and others in the public eye aren't heroes when compared to men of the caliber of Mr. Ross McGinnis, Mr. Paul Smith, Mr. Michael Monsoor, and Mr. Jason Dunham.

Remember their actions when the time came to do what's right. Honor their memory by voting, teaching your children right from wrong, and defending our nation when it is needed.

If you know a veteran, tell him thank you. If you see a vet and his family in a restaurant, pick up the check if you can afford it. They'll remember that longer then you will and you'll both get a great feeling from it.

For weeks, the Middle East has been buzzing with talk that Turkey has been mediating secret peace negotiations between Israel and Syria. On Wednesday, the speculation ended: both governments confirmed the reports, issuing statements just minutes apart. The dialogue, according to the Israeli version, is intended to be "serious and continuous" and would aim for a "comprehensive peace in accordance with the Madrid Conference terms of reference." The brief mention of the Madrid Conference, Israeli-Arab negotiations that were cosponsored by Washington and Moscow in 1991, is particularly important because it may signal renewed U.S. involvement, according to former Israeli foreign ministry official Alon Liel, who spent nearly two years between 2004 and 2006 in secret talks with a Syrian mediator. Shortly after the announcement, Liel spoke with NEWSWEEK's Kevin Peraino.

What do you see as the most problematic potential sticking point in the upcoming negotiations?

I think the most complicated area will be the relationship between Syria and Iran. I see a big battle here. Syria will want to maintain contact with Iran. Once you have such a statement, imagine the feeling of Iran. It's not only Olmert taking a risk, it's also Assad taking a very big risk. Both leaders are doing something very courageous. Also, Syria will have to bring about a change of behavior regarding Hamas.

Is it realistic to expect Syria would completely sever ties with Iran, Hizbullah and Hamas as part of a deal?

I'm not sure Syria and Iran can be strategic allies [after a peace deal]. A comprehensive peace agreement will necessitate meaningful changes. I don't think Syria can have peace and normal relations with both Israel and Hizbullah, or Israel and Hamas. It's almost mutually exclusive.

Could you see a day when Hizbullah is carrying out military operations against Syria as a result?

I really don't know how Hizbullah will act. I don't think they'd want to destroy--in a stupid way, from their perspective--this ongoing contact they have [with Damascus]. I don't know about the Iranian reaction. Nobody should start speculating.

Might be something, might be nothing, but make no mistake; Ahmadinejad is "displeased" by the developments.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has expressed his surprise and displeasure at Syria's "violation of its commitment to Iran" by holding talks with Israel, the London-based pan-Arabic daily Asharq alawsat reported Friday.

According to the newspaper, Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Moallem updated Ahmadinejad during a visit to Teheran some weeks ago on the status of his nation's secret diplomatic contacts with Israel.

The report also said that Iran's Supreme National Security Council would examine a message from Syria about the talks with Israel in order to decide on an "appropriate response."

Meanwhile, the editor of one of Iran's reformist newspapers said that the council had instructed Iranian media outlets, including Internet sites, to "ignore" the topic of the Syria-Israel talks.

This has "win-win" written all over it. If they achieve a peace deal, they will alienate Iran and further isolate it from the rest of the world. It will push Iran to the point where they will HAVE to make concessions on other areas, including their nuclear program. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think that bombing the Syrian nuclear facility was an almost perfect operation. They got rid of the facility, proved that they could take it out, AND showed Iran that the Israeli's weren't fucking around all in one fatal swoop.

Now you have Syria and Israel in peace talks, that means that unless there's something else going on, this will drive a wedge between Syria and Iran. Which is also a nice "win-win" situation as well. I'm getting good news across the board here right before my long Memorial Day weekend. I think the only thing that will make it even better is if we caught Osama and his merry band of cocksuckers.

Saudi's Humiliated Into Helping

Two weeks after a FOX News investigation showed oil-rich Saudia Arabia had donated nothing this year to help the United Nations World Food Program feed the world's hungry, the globe's number one oil exporter is finally opening its checkbook.

The United Nations this morning told FOX that the Saudis have pledged WFP a whopping $500 million contribution in response to the urgent WFP appeal in early April for $775 million to help it cope with a crisis caused by lower international grain stocks and rising energy costs. According to WFP that threatened to put at least 100 million more people around the world on the edge of starvation.

The Saudi contribution came two weeks after FOX revealed, based on WFP donor records, that Saudi Arabia had given nothing at all to the food agency this year, despite spiraling oil prices that had brought on the food crisis.

While I do like seeing Saudi Arabia publicly humiliated like this and getting this type of reaction, it is sad to see that they even had to be publicly shamed into giving at all. It shows their greed. It shows how self centered they really are.

What do you want to bet that Saudi Arabia makes this a one time gift? I'd bet the farm that Saudi Arabia and other Middle Eastern states don't give this much money on a yearly basis. You want to be a world power? Then you have to whip out the checkbook like a world power. Otherwise, this will continue to happen.

Remember when Saudi Arabia and other nations said they'd put forth the extra money towards the Palestinians when they got blockaded for their support and election of Hamas? Yeah....how's that going for you?

Hillary's Using Assassination As Excuse To Stay In Race

Bollywood Starlet Accused Of Sex With Special Forces

A Bollywood starlet who made her name going beyond the call of duty in Who Dares Wins, an Australian TV stunt show, has been accused of having sex with soldiers while on a tour to entertain troops in Afghanistan.

Tania Zaetta (above) was named in a confidential briefing paper to Australia's Defence Minister as having slept with special forces soldiers last month at a military base in Tarin Kowt, the capital of Oruzgan province. Pictures and a video were said to have been taken.

But Australia's military was in retreat last night, admitting that it broke its privacy regulations by naming the actress, 37, in the confidential note intended for Joel Fitzgibbon, the Defence Minister.

The Defence Department apologised to Zaetta for the leak, and Mr Fitzgibbon said he had ordered an inquiry into how the document - officially referred to as a "hot issues brief" - became public.

Zaetta, who has appeared on Baywatch and Mission Implausible, a British pay-TV show, denied the allegations and said there had been little opportunity to be alone with any soldier, even if she had wanted to be.

Keith Olbermann Strikes Again!

Keith, I love you man. You're filled with such hatred for anything even remotely related to conservatives or Republicans, that you'll say or twist just about anything to make us look bad.

Case in point:

So, General Petraeus is lying about the progress that's being made in Iraq? Please do tell me how you manage to say all that with 3rd hand knowledge?

But Oliver North is the best. You say that him and Sean Hannity were smearing a Gitmo translator who was "falsely accused of helping detainees against whom all charges were dismissed".

Yes..."falsely accused"....Let's take a look at that shall we?

First off, his name is James Yee. He was found to have a list of detainees AND their interrogators on him as well as his laptop had tons of information on it that was NOT ALLOWED.

The charges were dropped when it was determined that releasing evidence into the public would be detrimental to national security.

Although Miller considered Yee's offer to undergo a debriefing in exchange for the government dropping the charges, granting him immunity and supporting his resignation, relevant law enforcement agencies could not support Yee's request for immunity.

THAT'S NOT BEING FALSELY ACCUSED KEITH!

That's an outright lie and you know it.

What's worse? James Yee is now a superdelegate and he's pledging for Obama.

Then Keith, you have the fucking nerve to imply that ALL of the detainees in Guantanamo Bay are making it all up and that there's not ONE of them that's an actual terrorist.

It's that kind of bullshit thinking during the 90's that got us into this trouble by your Messiah Bill Clinton.

Jimmy Carter's A Genius

A Palestinian militant detonated a powerful truck bomb with four tons of explosives at the main pedestrian crossing between Israel and the Gaza Strip on Thursday, causing extensive damage that dealt a serious blow to Gazans' hopes of opening up their sealed-off territory.

Though the young man succeeded in killing only himself, the magnitude of the explosion - which shook buildings miles away in both Israel and Gaza - raised fears that Palestinian militants are adopting some of the same tactics as Al Qaeda, Hezbollah and other extremist groups in the region.

The attack also reinforced skepticism about Egyptian-led efforts to bring a truce to the violence-wracked area and hurt international efforts to ease the Israeli-led blockade of Gaza, imposed after Hamas militants violently seized control of the coastal territory almost a year ago.

Later, at the Karni cargo crossing some 5 miles away, a protest against the blockade turned violent, with Palestinians accusing Israeli troops of opening fire into the crowd of thousands, killing a 22-year-old man and wounding 16 other people.

In chaotic scenes, swarms of people darted along a narrow road near the crossing, fleeing tear gas and live bullets as Israeli tanks rumbled into Gaza from the Israeli side of the crossing. The military said soldiers opened fire after spotting gunmen in the crowd, including one carrying an anti-tank missile, and that the gunmen returned fire.

"Zionists, death is coming," loudspeakers blared. "You will fall, your corrupt state will fall," the crowd chanted - reflecting the intensity of Gazans' bottled up frustration a year into Hamas' turbulent rule, which has seen 80 percent of Gaza's adult population descend into poverty, according to the U.N.

Two little boys ran into a field flanked by the tanks while adults in the crowd loudly admonished them to come back. Protesters climbed up electricity poles to hoist the Hamas flag. Ambulances rushed in to evacuate the wounded, and plumes of black smoke climbed into the sky after protesters set tires afire.

The violence at Gaza's border crossings came as Egyptian mediation efforts to forge an Israeli-Hamas ceasefire ran into trouble, with several Hamas leaders claiming the truce talks had failed.

However, Israeli military officials, speaking on condition of anonymity because no formal announcement had been made, confirmed that Amos Gilad, a senior Israeli defense official, will travel to Egypt on Sunday for more talks - a sign the truce is still on the table.

Hamas officials blamed Israel for not accepting a proposed six-month truce. They spoke on condition of anonymity because the group had yet to make an official statement.

One Hamas leader participating in the talks, Khalil al-Haya, said the negotiations were still going on and that various Palestinian militant groups planned to meet "to review the outcome of the talks."

Abu Ahmad, a spokesman for Islamic Jihad, one of two groups claiming joint responsibility for the bombing at the Erez crossing, said the attack was meant to "send a message" to Israel that if it didn't accept a truce, "Gaza is not going to be a place where you will enjoy stability."

Yep. Good old Jimmy Carter wants to sit down with these guys because really, they are only a bunch of good guys who are "freedom fighters" right?

That's the kind of carnage that they inflict upon innocent people. And you think I'm going to allow you your own state? You must be out of your fucking minds.

U.S. Officials Call Pakistan Deal 'Bin Laden Victory'

Pakistan's new government has signed a peace deal with pro-Taliban
militants, in what some U.S. officials call a "victory for Osama bin
Laden and al Qaeda."

Under the terms of the 15-point plan, signed Wednesday in the city of
Peshawar, the Pakistani army will withdraw thousands of troops deployed
to the Swat Valley region, an area where officials believe local
Taliban militants are hiding. The militants have promised to stop
suicide bomb attacks and hand over any foreign militants
, according to
Bashir Bilour, a senior minister of Pakistan's Northwest Frontier
Province
.

Didn't Pakistan already try this and fail miserably? They are only doing this to protect Bin Laden and his guys and we're allowing this to take place? What the FUCK kind of bullshit is this? These people should be bombed into oblivion, not given peace agreements.

Remember the last deal when they said they'd "hand over any foreign militants"? They didn't hand over shit. It's a delaying tactic that's only going to fail miserably.

If Pakistan doesn't have the guts to go after these guys, they have no standing when we do it for them.

Too many people are chicken shit to go after Bin Laden and are too afraid of "Pakistan's sovereignty". These are the people that supported Al-Qaeda in their attacks on 9/11 and we're allowing Musharraf to make peace deals? Fuck that. When does the bombing begin?

We're even training Afghan troops to fight militants?? Why aren't we doing the fighting ourselves? You know damned good and well that the Afghan troops probably have a TON of corruption and they'll be pulling the same bullshit that the Iraqi's are right now.

Sometimes you have to roll up your sleeves and do it yourselves, and this is one of those instances. We shouldn't be giving aid to a country that tries to appease, and make no mistake, they are appeasing, Taliban militants who are most likely hiding Al-Qaeda members.

Chavez

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez accused the United States on
Wednesday of using anti-drug flights for spying — and said that fighter
jets are ready to defend Venezuela's sovereignty.

Chavez said a
U.S. Navy plane that flew into Venezuelan airspace during a purported
anti-drug mission was actually involved in reconnaissance.

"They
are spying, even testing our capacity to react," Chavez said in a
televised speech. "We are not going to allow the violation of our
sovereignty."

The U.S. Navy plane was detected by Venezuelan
authorities Saturday near the Caribbean island of La Orchila, and its
crew was questioned over the radio by Caracas' airport control tower.

Chavez
said that pilots who fly Venezuela's SU-30 Sukhoi combat jets, newly
bought from Russia, were "starting their engines" shortly after the
U.S. Navy plane was detected.

U.S. government officials say the
S-3 Navy plane was on a counter-drug mission when it accidentally
strayed into Venezuelan airspace due to a navigational error.

The incident has aggravated U.S.-Venezuelan tensions.

A
U.S. Embassy spokeswoman in Caracas did not immediately return a
message seeking comment on Chavez's statements. U.S. officials have
dismissed the Venezuelan leader's past spying accusations.

Chavez also reacted angrily on Wednesday to Washington's concerns that his government could be aiding Colombian rebels.

"Columbian rebels"? No, this is FARC, a known terrorist group. Chavez is pissed that he's being cornered like the rat he is for his ties to them and he's trying to deflect attention away. Even Stevie Wonder could see that.

Quite a few "D"'s in that list. You can make your own judgement on who's right and who's wrong.

But on a more personal note, notice who's not voting at all:

Not Voting -
4
Coburn (R-OK)
Kennedy (D-MA)
McCain (R-AZ)
Obama (D-IL)

Hillary actually voted "no" on it. Her opponent Obama as well as John McCain couldn't be bothered to vote one way or another. If Hillary was smart, she would take Obama to task about this. She would say "I voted no to get our guys out of Iraq and you couldn't be bothered to do your job as a Senator".

THAT is the kind of politics I expect Hillary to do. But alas, she doesn't seem to get it and has all of her wind taken out of her sails. Perhaps if she bothered to look at his voting record, she might have found some cracks in his armor. At least that's what I would have told her to do if I was her advisor.....<shudder>
