U.S. Officials Call Pakistan Deal 'Bin Laden Victory'

Pakistan's new government has signed a peace deal with pro-Taliban
militants, in what some U.S. officials call a "victory for Osama bin
Laden and al Qaeda."

Under the terms of the 15-point plan, signed Wednesday in the city of
Peshawar, the Pakistani army will withdraw thousands of troops deployed
to the Swat Valley region, an area where officials believe local
Taliban militants are hiding. The militants have promised to stop
suicide bomb attacks and hand over any foreign militants
, according to
Bashir Bilour, a senior minister of Pakistan's Northwest Frontier
Province
.

Didn't Pakistan already try this and fail miserably? They are only doing this to protect Bin Laden and his guys and we're allowing this to take place? What the FUCK kind of bullshit is this? These people should be bombed into oblivion, not given peace agreements.

Remember the last deal when they said they'd "hand over any foreign militants"? They didn't hand over shit. It's a delaying tactic that's only going to fail miserably.

If Pakistan doesn't have the guts to go after these guys, they have no standing when we do it for them.

Too many people are chicken shit to go after Bin Laden and are too afraid of "Pakistan's sovereignty". These are the people that supported Al-Qaeda in their attacks on 9/11 and we're allowing Musharraf to make peace deals? Fuck that. When does the bombing begin?

We're even training Afghan troops to fight militants?? Why aren't we doing the fighting ourselves? You know damned good and well that the Afghan troops probably have a TON of corruption and they'll be pulling the same bullshit that the Iraqi's are right now.

Sometimes you have to roll up your sleeves and do it yourselves, and this is one of those instances. We shouldn't be giving aid to a country that tries to appease, and make no mistake, they are appeasing, Taliban militants who are most likely hiding Al-Qaeda members.
