Hillary Clinton has hinted that she is prepared to take her fight to fully seat Florida and 
Michigan all the way to the party's convention in late August, but House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says that's not going to happen.
In an interview with her hometown newspaper, the San Francisco Chronicle, the California Democrat said she is prepared to "step in" if the presidential race does not resolve itself by the end of next month.
Pelosi, who will serve as chair of the convention, has largely stayed on the sidelines during her party's prolonged primary race. But the House Speaker has said Democratic superdelegates should not overturn the pledged delegate winner, and has warned of irreparable harm if they do so. Barack Obama officially won the majority of pledged delegates in last Tuesday's primary contests, though it's been clear for several weeks Clinton could not overtake him in that category.
Pelosi also indicated she opposes the Clinton campaign's desire that both Florida and Michigan's delegations be fully seated at the convention. The party stripped both states of their entire delegations last year after they moved their presidential primaries ahead in the nominating calendar.
Pelosi said she agreed the two states should be seated in some way, but said only "in a way that is not destructive to any sense of order in the party."
Yes, we all know how good Nancy is at taking charge and making things happen. Just look at her record so far....:) Hillary is going to fight this all the way to the convention and is looking for a way out gracefully. But there simply is no way out that way. She's lost the majority of the votes, so she can't win that way. Her only hope is superdelegates and some of them hopefully changing their minds.
Even her little monkey boy Carville is trying to "take the moral high ground" by saying they'd pay for a re-election in Michigan and Florida. Then he goes on to proclaim that Obama's camp wasn't having it. That may very well be, but to see this idiot try to come off as the victim is sickening.
Hillary is sunk because of her lack of planning, her arrogance, and her lies.
Nancy Pelosi is taking the cowards way out by keeping everything quiet in the hopes that a clear winner would be decided by the people. That's what a LOT of delegates are doing. They are hoping to pass the blame for their votes to the American people instead of themselves. That's why Carville was pissed at Richardson for his endorsement of Obama. Remember the "Judas" comment? Everyone is in bed with everyone else in Washington, and if you don't scratch the back of someone who's expecting it, you can bet that there'll be some name callling and a lot of support lost.
