NIU gunman stopped taking medication

Yet another school shooting, more people dead, and the specter of Gun Control has reared it's ugly head again.

Unfortunately for Gun Control advocates these are the facts:

Two of the weapons — the pump-action Remington shotgun and a Glock 9mm handgun — were purchased legally less than a week ago, on Feb. 9, authorities said. They were purchased in Champaign, where Kazmierczak was enrolled at the University of Illinois.

A spokesman for the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said the other two guns were also legally purchased and traced to the Champaign gun shop, but the ATF was still determining when Kazmierczak picked them up.

Five people dead, 16 people injured by a nut job that bought weapons completely legally.  That's just something you cannot combat with stricter Gun Control laws.

However, there is a solution:

Remove "Gun Free Zones" from many of these areas.  I know I'm going to get hate mail about how dangerous it will become with students whom many are over 21, having concealed weapons, but prove me wrong.

"I heard this girl scream, 'Run, he's reloading the gun!"'

You wouldn't have to run if you were armed and could shoot back.  Many people would probably still be alive and uninjured had students been allowed to carry legally purchased weapons.  Then many parents wouldn't have to bury their children.
