Not exactly political news, but a little more of a personal belief:
If you're taunting a 350 pound animal with razor sharp claws and teeth, youdeserve the mauling you have coming to you, even if it means your death.
There's already reports of police finding a slingshot and an empty bottle of vodka on the survivors of the attack, so it's not really that unbelievable to think that they taunted this animal until it went "ok, that's it".
Let sleeping dogs lie. There's a reason why that's words to live by.
