Now it's down to $54 a barrel. I think I'd be happy around the $40-$45 range. That would put gas at around an even $2 a gallon. I seriously doubt that oil companies will ever return to $2 a gallon gas as everyone is now getting used to $2.50 or more a gallon. But it's all about supply and demand. Sooner or later people will get tired of spending $30-$75 for a tank of gas and think more about how they can save that money in the long run.
