And OPEC wants to cut production to keep prices high. While that may be all and well in the short term, high gas prices mean that manufacturers and the public are looking hard at alternative fuels and higher gas mileage cars and trucks. I know I look hard at hybrids and other high efficiency cars and trucks when I'm searching for a new vehicle now. If you try to squeeze your customers for every single dime they have, sooner or later, you won't have any customers left.
