Well this would certainly take the wind out of people who oppose embryonic stem cell research. Scientists can now harvest stem cells from the amniotic fluid in pregnant women. Personally, if you're going to do nothing with an embryo, and scientists can use it for something that might help humanity, where's the harm? If you can help treat or cure a major disease and this is a good way to start, then have at it. I would rather a man is cured of Parkinson's, Cancer, or any other major disease then have an embryo waste away in a medical waste dumpster.
