Analysis: Huckabee up, Clinton down heading to Granite State

With Mike Huckabee getting a win in Iowa, I'm getting a lot of emails from people wondering my stance on him.

Personally, he's not my first choice.  Take a look at these things:

Treat AIDS as plague to be isolated, not civil rights issue. (Nov 1992)

Hate abortion but allow it is like hate slavery but allow it. (May 2007)

No tax funding for organizations that promote abortion. (Sep 2007)

Outlaw all abortions; err on the side of life. (Jan 2007)

To reduce spending, get rid of IRS & revamp DHS. (Nov 2007)

Gay tolerance reflects lack of fixed societal standards. (Jun 2007)

Replace entire school board for failing schools. (Jan 2007)

Marriage relationship between one man, one woman, for life. (Sep 2007)

Purpose of marriage is loving relationship, not happiness. (Oct 2000)

Disclose political gifts, but don't prohibit them. (Oct 2000)

So he's not exactly what I would call a "straight shooter".  I need that in my next President.  Unfortunately, I don't see that in a lot of the candidates, including on both sides of the aisle.

With Hillary taking a beating in Iowa, it's nice to see that voters have seen through her line of bullshit, but we aren't out of the woods yet. :)  New Hampshire is going to be next and I am very curious what those numbers will look like.  If Hillary takes a beating there, it will severely undermine her momentum.

Even people within her own party are starting to doubt her chances of winning.  But don't underestimate her abilities, and the ability to spin the third place finish into something else.
