Is this a turn around that we've all been hoping for?
The Foreign Office said the U.S., Russia, China, Britain and France agreed, along with Germany, to come up with a new sanctions resolution with the aim of voting on it if November reports by the European Union and the International Atomic Energy Agency did not show improved Iranian cooperation.
Russia and China did not confirm that there had been an agreement, which would mark a surprising turnaround in the two countries’ strong resistance to fresh sanctions against Iran.
If true, this would mean a great deal in the matter of Iran's nuclear program. There are still several unanswered questions about their program such as the weaponization experiments and the radiological contamination at Tehran University.
I think the evidence is starting to grow to the point where Russia and China simply cannot ignore it anymore. It's the proverbial "elephant in the room".
Of course, if this report is actually true.
