I must admit, the guy does look good on paper, but some key issues he's wrong on will make for a troubling time that he'll have when he's seeking the Republican nomination. If I were a betting man, (and I am), I would say that the Presidential elections in 2008 will be either, Giuliani Vs. Clinton, or Giuliani Vs. Obama. I think that many in the Republican base are willing to overlook Rudy's disagreements with core Republican beliefs because they want to make sure that Republicans hold onto the White House now that Democrats control the Senate. Rudy has charisma, a reputation for getting things done, and has people on both sides of the political landscape liking him.
