Democrats said all during their campaign that they wanted to work with Republicans, now that turns out to be an out and out lie. One Democrat aide said it poetically "We're going to make an impression one way or the other," said one Democratic leadership aide. "If it's not positive, we'll be out in two years." Indeed. :)
