So Kofi Annan has the nerve to scold the US government about abandoning it's "ideals"? While that would be a valid point coming from someone, I don't think Kofi is in any position to talk while he has the corrupt "oil for food" program under his watch. Let's also not forget about the conflict of interest involving his son and his son's employment with a company that does business with the UN. He may have been cleared of corruption but this I find a bit disturbing:
"It also indicated that Annan may have initially misled investigators about contacts he had with senior executives at his son's company before they won a U.N. contract"
So please Kofi, before you throw stones, please make sure that those you throw at can't throw them back at you.
