Well that doesn't cut it for this lady. Pregnant at 14, working 2 jobs to support her and her son and divorced at 18, Washington D.C. Police Chief at 39. That's what America offers people who work hard and don't quit. If you ever wonder what the American Dream is, this lady's living it.
A Master's Degree from John Hopkins University and another Masters Degree from the Naval Postgraduate School. So when you all think that it's all about "poor me", I'll point you to this woman who got kicked in the teeth by life, didn't take bullshit and made something of her life. Good for her!
