President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announced major progress in Iran's push for nuclear power, saying Tuesday that his nation was installing thousands of new uranium-enriching centrifuges and testing a much faster version of the device.
Ahmadinejad said scientists were putting 6,000 new centrifuges into place, about twice the current number, and testing a new type that works five times faster.
So, who else do we need to convince to slap Iran with sanctions on their oil industry? If they are after nuclear weapons, we all know that's not acceptable. But has anyone thought that they might be using this as an excuse to drive up oil prices? Why don't we strike them where it hurts the most? Their economy is in shambles. Inflation is above 15% last time I looked.
If you strike against their oil exports, they'll start to listen. They'll have to.
Otherwise their nation will rip themselves apart. :)
