I cannot even BEGIN to believe this amount of bullshit:
The Treasury Secretary said last week that the White House wants to bring tax relief to "those who are paying taxes." But he appeared to back off of that line on Tuesday, when he told the U.S. Chamber of Commerce that the "package must reach a large number of citizens."
That would address concerns of many Democrats, who want tax rebates related to the stimulus to reach people who don't make enough to pay income taxes.
Democrats want to give people tax rebates to people who DON'T PAY TAXES!
Think about that for a minute. That's not how America works. We reward the ones who contribute, not the ones who just have no money. That's communism. That's socialism. To give the money that was earned through hard work to someone who didn't pay a single dime in taxes is idiotic at best and boils down to "buying votes" at worst.
How's this? Fuck the stimulus plan. Those who took a bath in the mortgage market, those who's risky investments are going to the toilet, they can all suffer for all I care. It's called "tough love". You know the risks when you get involved in these things and you gambled and lost. Now lie in the bed that you made.
Democrats are absolutely the worst kind of politician to want to do a basic redistribution of wealth in this country to people who didn't contribute a single dime towards the police that protected them, the roads that they drive on, or the welfare that they collect.
I don't mind helping someone who wants to help themselves, but to give tax "rebates", that WILL HAVE TO BE PAID BACK WITH INTEREST to people who didn't contribute is ludicrous. It's like if I got a rebate on a DVD player that I didn't even buy.
