On eve of caucuses, Giuliani skips Iowa

While I can understand when a candidate concedes he may not win a caucus and wants to move on, I think Rudy is making a big mistake here.

The reason is that if normal Iowans see him ignoring them or abandoning them for New Hampshire, then they may vote against him in the election.  With recent gains made by Democrats, every state counts and even one state may make the difference between winning and losing. 

Just take a look at Ohio in 2004 and Florida in 2000 to see what I mean.
