Now we're going to see who the real frontrunner's are in the Presidential race.
This week's poll shows that 17 percent of likely Democratic caucus-goers said they are still trying to decide which candidate to support, and more than a quarter of Republican caucus-goers said they are still trying to decide.
That means that it's statistically anyone's ballgame. That means that even John Edwards could pull it off. That means that, although it's a long shot, even Ron Paul stands a chance.
We'll know more on Thursday, but my bet is that Obama squeaks by with a nod and Romney on the Republican side.
Personally, I'm pretty disgusted with the complete lack of candidates that are presented to conservatives. There isn't one person to me that stands out and says "This guy is your guy".
Whether it's a religious nutjob or a lying nutjob, or a Internet sensation nutjob, the Republicans are in serious trouble if this is what they have to offer the American people.
There's serious rumblings about wanting change going through the American voting public, and if candidates don't show how they are going to lead us in a new direction, then the Democrats may pull it off. Not so much for them being better, but for us falling all over ourselves trying to be everything to everyone, or worse, trying to appease one large group of people, while completely ignoring the other.
I don't care about a candidates religion, I don't care about his personal sexual habits and tastes. I care about how they plan on dealing with threats that this nation faces, how they plan on balancing the budget, and how they plan on raising our prosperity. When a candidate does that, he/she will have my vote.
