You know, every time I hear about an Al-Qaeda arrest, I expect to see some rough, tough looking guy with a huge chip on his shoulder. I expect someone who's arrested to have a face like this:
not something like this:
This is the "tough guy" that we're all supposed to be afraid of? This looks more like a kid who stole his dads car and slammed it into a telephone pole.
I mean look at him. He looks like a defeated little bitch
He's got that "Dad! Come help me out of jail, I'm scared!" look in his eyes.
But not even 24 hours before, I'll bet you he was watching the Nick Berg beheading video thinking he was tough shit.
But looks are one thing, intelligence is another, and this guy was lacking severely.
When he was seized, forensic science officers found that Tsouli had been creating a website called YOUBOMBIT.
I wish I were making that up. He was making a website called youbombit.
You can't make up idiocy like that folks.
But it's dumb people like that that help in our fight against terrorists.
In 2005, Tsouli became administrator for the web forum al-Ansat, used by 4,500 extremists to communicate with each other, sharing such practical information as how to make explosives and how to get to Iraq to become a suicide bomber.
His capture led to the arrest of several Islamic terrorists around the world, including 17 men in Canada and two in the US.
Good news! We got more of these people who deserve nothing but jail sentences and executions for their murderous intentions.
But one thing that Britain does that the US doesn't do that makes me proud to call them allies, is that they'll increase a sentence of a criminal if they think it was too lenient:
Associates linked to Tsouli in the UK have also now been detained. His 10-year jail sentence was increased to 16 years last month.
Al-Qaeda is losing, make no mistake. And arrests like this show that our guys are on top of things. Good job Brits!
