Breitbart.tv » Rep. Pete Stark Apologizes for Bush Insult as Censure Vote Falls Short

"I hope that with this apology I will become as insignificant as I should be."

"Oh, poor me!  I got a large amount of backlash from my comments and now I want to play the victim!"

That's pretty much sums up what he's saying.  He's trying to say that he's upset that his comments weren't picked up by the members of Congress and ran with.  He's upset that Americans were pissed at his comments, and now he's trying desperately to get this swept under the rug before election time.

Of course, there are people who are pissed that he apologized.

Because he spoke out against President Bush and tried to make him sound like a monster, those on the left thought it was a great thing he said.  But when members of Congress thought better of it, they got upset that he issued an apology.

Personally, he can take his apology and shove it up his ass for all I care.  He said what he said, and I don't care if he apologizes or not.  His true feelings came out in his first speech, so screw him.

  1. I don't believe Bush is a monster, But Stark I believe has a much bigger brain then George W...so that is what ultimately matters

  2. Perhaps you're right, but I don't see how equating deaths in Iraq to the President's amusement can get you anywhere on the intelligence charts.
