Who's going to pay for the extra $20 billion a year Hillary? Couple that with her proposed $110 billion a year universal health care plan, that's $130 billion a year in ADDED costs. This country is already $9 trillion in debt, and Hillary wants to push it higher. Yet, you never hear a reporter call her on her blatantly lying campaign promise.
We all know she's not going to go through with this bullshit idea. There would be too much of an outcry. For example: What about those of us who didn't get the $5k when we were born? Why should we have to pay for someone else to go to college? Why do newborns get to get a leg up on the down payment on a new home when the rest of us lived in a shitty apartment and saved up? Why do newborns get to have less financial pressure about college when I worked a full time job, rode the city bus, and went to college full time? How is that fair to me?
What are your plans for this money when they turn 18? What if they decide to spend the money on weed and the latest Apple laptop instead of college tuition? Something like this is ripe for abuse and Hillary is simply trying to buy dumb people's votes. Everyone on CNN's forums, even Democrats, are talking about "who's going to pay for this".
Oh and I'll bet you diamonds to doughnuts that she'd included illegal immigrants as well.
