Uhh...the gun was purchased LEGALLY Senator Feinstein. The Virginia Tech shooter was of age, he had 3 different pieces of ID and passed a background check. Those aren't "common sense" enough for you Senator? Passing a federal background check and showing ID to prove you are over 21 and can legally own a weapon? What the hell else hoops would you like law abiding Americans to jump through? Would you like us to jump when told? Face it, you can't take away our Constitutional rights no matter what your twisted belief system is. Whether you like it or not, the shooter was a law abiding citizen up until the time he pulled the gun out on his first victim.
Even the Virginia state governor is against Senator Feinstein:
Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine said he wasn't interested in arguments about gun control.
"People who want to take this within 24 hours of the event and make it their political hobby horse to ride, I've got nothing but loathing for them," Kaine said at a Tuesday evening news conference. If you want to turn tragic events into political spectacles, how about we start with your public airing of evidence against Richard Ramirez, AKA The Night Stalker.
In 1985, at a press conference, she revealed details about the hunt for Richard Ramírez, otherwise known as the Night Stalker, and in so doing angered detectives by giving away details of his crimes, including actual displaying evidence at the press conference. These revelations subverted their investigation and Ramirez left the San Francisco area to commit another murder before he was finally captured in the Los Angeles area.
What do you say about that Senator Feinstein? What do you say to the family of Bill Carns, the man who was killed after Richard Ramirez dumped all the known evidence that you detailed in a press conference, thus, throwing police off of his trail? You have no right to comment on violence and gun control because your own incompetence indirectly caused the murder of an innocent person.
