Or "Hey guys, we're noticing you're getting a grip on Iraq regardless of what we've been doing. And, we were thinking that you probably are pretty serious about our nuclear ambitions, so before we get our asses kicked, we'd like to appear friendly".
Or maybe they just want to appear that they are sensible and can be reasonable in the eyes of the idiot Democrats.
Or it could be both, who knows?
