After more than 2 months without a resolution, Congress is back on the job working on an emergency budget to pay for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. President Bush is meeting with top Democrats to work out each other's concerns: mainly the timeline for withdrawal of troops in Iraq. Will it work out? I doubt it, Democrats aren't coming up with any new ideas other than: "let's get the hell out of there," which isn't an option. Things have changed on the ground that I'll post about next.
