That story leads me to the next story. 5 students at Long Island University decided they were going to play a prank and make a mock video depicting a "hostage situation" with a rubber duck. Now a Muslim group is calling the video "offensive" and says "While friends of those who created the film emphasized it was made in jest, Muslim leaders did not see the humor. They acknowledged students' right to freedom of speech, but said that right carries responsibility."

So what we have here is a couple of students who made a video, which probably was offensive to some, and now they've had CAIR get involved with the situation. CAIR is fast becoming the "Jesse Jackson's" of the Muslim world. Racist, lying, bullshit artists who only point out the "unfairness" and "oppression" of their own people while ignoring the plights of those who aren't their religion/race. Where was CAIR when Ward Churchill made his infamous "Little Eichmann's" comments against the 9/11 victims? Where was the university's outrage and firing of this guy? They didn't because it was protecting his rights to free speech and these students have those same rights.

"The university dismissed the students from their jobs as residence hall assistants in Brookville Hall, saying they had engaged in activity that violated their employment contract and that reflected "insensitivity."

So what do you think would have happened if they made a Bush/America bashing video? I can guarantee you that nothing would have happened to these students.
