Saudi Arabia Considers Sending Troops To Iraq

Well of course they are. They have just as much at stake as we do. They are an economic and political superpower in the region and if their neighbor goes down the road towards chaos, that would leave a nasty ripple effect across the region. Plus, with Iran poking it's nose into Iraq's business, Saudi Arabia is afraid that Iran's intentions could upset the balance of power in the region.

It's in Saudi Arabia's best interest to help us see things through. I'm surprised they haven't offered troops right now instead of waiting for Bush's plan to go one way or another. Saudi Arabia just wants to make money and become a major player on the world stage just like every other nation does. Iran wants to make sure that Israel doesn't exist anymore and will do whatever it takes to make it happen. So you can bet that Saudi Arabia will make sure that Iran gets the hint that they are playing with fire.

Iran must know that we aren't bogged down in Iraq like they'd like to believe. We didn't get to be the #1 military superpower on the planet for nothing.
