Deja Vu All Over Again

So the Senate finally got around to introducing a non binding resolution stating that they don't support the troop increase in Iraq. Non binding? What the hell are they thinking? What they are doing is politicizing our troops involvement in Iraq and showing that they are out of ideas when it comes to making things better.

The Senate is fast becoming the UN, full of pomp and poise, but lacking any real substance and certainly lacking of teeth. What bothers me is that they are wasting their "first 100 hours" on non binding resolutions when they could be doing real work. If you want a withdrawal of troops, fine. I disagree with that, but that's my opinion. But put together something that actually means something instead of just shouting and making political statements about the lives of our men and women in harms way.
