Mid term elections are almost upon us and it appears that some in the Republican party are nervous. Democrats and Hollywood types have made a big enough stink about how they are "gonna start a revolution" and other such bullshit, that many in the Republican party are nervous about losing seats in the senate. I think they rightfully are nervous as they have left some core values on the wayside such as; smaller government and lower spending.
But President Bush and Karl Rove are seemingly upbeat. Why? Do they know something you and I don't? Are they going to drop a bombshell on the American public such as Osama being captured? Al-Zahawi dead? A major development on the War on Terror front would certainly boost the low approval ratings, but I would be curious on why they are upbeat while almost everyone else is not. I guess we'll know more in the coming weeks.
